My past.
Firstly outside of university, i have a hobby that is near & dear to my heart. I participate in this hobby in my hometown of Prinsenbeek, here I work on the annual carnival parade. I work on the metalwork in these big floats, and I also help with the organization of the large friend group that works on this ‘project’. I also work on the main constructions of the floats sometimes. I can really apply the knowledge that I gain here in my bachelor’s well. Press here to find out more.
In high school, I had two optional classes: computer science and arts. This also summarizes my interests quite well. A mix of technology and aesthetics was already there from the start, and can still be found in who I am today.
In the last project, it was quite a different experience from what I was used to in high school. In this project I focused mainly on the technical aspects of the product and the realization of it, but also on the aesthetics. Through the sketching course that we had we also gained new skills to visualize our work, which I still use to this day.
